Paris was just as beautiful as I remembered
it… We arrived Thursday night and spent the weekend walking all over the city
until my feet hurt. On one of the days we realized we had been walking for over
12 hours straight… luckily it was all worth it. By the end of the trip we had
climbed the Eiffel tour, got lost in the Louvre, mastered the Paris Metro and
eaten half our weight in crepes and baguettes. I was also able to catch up with
Kelsey, who was an excellent tour guide! Due to the excessive amount of work I
should be doing, I’m keeping this post short, but including lots of pictures!
Au Revoir!
At the Metro stop outside of where we met for our walking tour!
Walking along the banks of the Seine, we were lucky enough to some sunshine while we were in Paris!
This bridge was completely full of these "Locks of Love", it is also the bridge that the series finale of Sex and the City was filmed at!
Outside the Louvre
Vin Chaud (hot wine) my new favorite! Reminds me of Glogg!
The Moulin Rouge in Montemarte!
Inside the Louvre, it's unbelievable how much art they have in there!
My favorite thing about studying art history is the satisfaction of being able to see the works in person. Any one who's ever taken Art History 6C will definitely recognize this gem.
Banana and Nutella crepe, best thing I've ever eaten
Midnight in Paris street..we waited patiently for the 1920's car to take us to meet Fitzgerald and Hemingway
Climbing the steps to the Sacre Coeur
The coolest bookstore I've ever been to
Kelsey and I outside of Shakespeare and Company
The Notre Dame
We walked around the Christmas Market on the Champs Elysees. This booth was hanging their Gingerbread men...
